Discover the Kinepod Active Ocular Board
Strengthen Your Eyes and Improve Your Posture
The Kinepod Active Ocular Board is used in orthoptic rehabilitation.
It actively contributes to:
- Strengthening the oculomotor muscles.
- Improving coordination and proprioception of the eye muscles.
- Acting on posture through descending chain rehabilitation.
Two Levels of Difficulty
Level A: Ideal for beginners or users starting rehabilitation.
Level B: Recommended for experienced users seeking more advanced training.
How Does the Board Work?
- Place the board in front of the patient’s nose, either horizontally or vertically, depending on the muscles to be trained.
- The patient must visualize two lines crossing at two points of the same color.
- The goal: Move the crossing of the lines to other points to work on ocular convergence and divergence.
Tips for Beginners
- Start with the central line for an easy progression.
- Then move on to other lines: top, bottom, right, left, to increase difficulty.
- Practice for a maximum of 20 minutes per day.
Solutions for Difficulties
If the patient cannot cross the lines (sees them separately), start by working with one eye. Cover or close the other eye to facilitate the exercise.
